Simulation & Robotics Engineer (gn) Gaussian Splatting, Cloud & NVIDIA Isaac Sim

VeröffentlichtVeröffentlicht: vor 2 Wochen

We are looking for a Simulation & Robotics Engineer to join our Simulation team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of robotics simulation, cloud infrastructure, and cutting-edge rendering pipelines powered by AI. Your main focus will be building and automating our Gaussian Splatting pipeline, ensuring our simulation solution can be rolled out reliably as a cloud product. This is an opportunity to shape the future of robot programming and make complex automation accessible to everyone.

Activities

We need you to build and automate our Gaussian Splatting pipeline for an end-to-end workflow from video to finished simulation. You will also develop control logic and behavior models (Behavior Trees) for robotic systems. Additionally, you'll be responsible for bringing our simulation solution to customers as a cloud product, which includes Kubernetes operation and scaling. Optionally, you can help evolve our simulation environment with NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Omniverse. You will use AI coding tools deliberately and in a structured way, without compromising on code quality, and work closely with Engineering and Product, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will solve technical challenges independently and communicate trade-offs openly and transparently.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

- Experience with Gaussian Splatting pipelines, aiming for end-to-end automation from video to finished simulation.
- Experience in the Gaussian Splatting environment.
- Cloud knowledge and Kubernetes, as the solution is rolled out to customers as a cloud product.
- Programming skills in Python and C++.
- Confident use of AI coding tools, combined with a structured way of working and a high standard for code quality.

Nice to have:

- Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Omniverse.

Way of working:

- Customer-oriented mindset in technical decision-making.
- Ability to mediate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Independent problem-solving with open communication of trade-offs.
- Pragmatic view of new technologies in the AI and robotics space.

Team

You will join our Simulation team, which is driving forward the foundation of our NOVA platform: realistic, scalable simulation environments that shorten the path from the physical cell into the cloud. We are a cross-functional team where communication is key, and we value knowledge sharing and unique ways of doing things. You'll collaborate with great people on our international teams.

Application Process

  1. Screening Call, remote, with Recruiter (30 min)
  2. Follow-Up Interview, remote, with Hiring Manager / VP Engineering (45 min)
  3. Tech Interview, remote, with Engineers from the team (60 min)
  4. Onsite Interview with Team, Product Demo and Live Exercise (appr. 3h)
