TasksIT Service Ownership & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external IT service providers and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Define service scope, priorities, and expectations aligned with business needs.
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including cloud environments, backups, networks, and website hosting.
- Ensure IT services align with organizational architecture and operational standards.
Workplace & End-User Services
- Act as the central contact for IT requests and workplace services.
- Manage the end-user IT environment to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, replacement, and disposal.
- Coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding for IT equipment.
- Maintain workplace standards, cost efficiency, user satisfaction, and the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
IT Asset & Software Management
- Maintain an accurate hardware and software asset register.
- Ensure visibility of asset ownership, lifecycle, and costs.
- Establish asset governance, documentation, and tracking standards.
- Manage software procurement, licensing, renewals, usage optimization, and lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to optimize software costs and eliminate unused licenses.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure IT assets, software, and infrastructure comply with organizational policies and governance requirements.
- Coordinate data protection, cybersecurity, and IT security reviews.
- Work closely with the Data Protection Officer and Information Security Officer.
- Support audit readiness through accurate documentation and operational records.
IT Administration & Cost Control
- Manage IT vendors, contracts, and service agreements throughout their lifecycle.
- Drive IT budget planning, cost transparency, and optimization.
- Ensure efficient use of IT assets, infrastructure, and software licenses.
- Provide reporting on IT services, assets, vendors, and costs to support business decision-making.
Profile
- Strong experience in IT operations, IT service management, and vendor management, including coordinating external IT service providers.
- Proven experience working with managed service providers to ensure service quality, accountability, and alignment with business needs.
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments, including Microsoft 365, cloud services, and workplace technologies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into structured service requests and oversee delivery by external providers.
- Experience managing IT assets, software licenses, subscriptions, and their lifecycle, with a focus on optimization and cost control.
- Practical experience with IT budgeting, cost management, and identifying optimization opportunities across services, licenses, and contracts.
- Strong knowledge of vendor and contract management, including service agreements, renewals, and performance monitoring.
- Experience establishing structured processes and maintaining transparency across IT services, assets, and vendors.
- Ability to evaluate IT services and provider performance from a business perspective without requiring deep technical expertise.
- Experience coordinating IT initiatives across multiple stakeholders while ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
- Working knowledge of GDPR and information security principles to ensure compliant IT services and vendor operations.
- Experience maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation for IT assets, licenses, vendors, and service processes.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement, cost optimization, and efficient IT service delivery.
- Ability to create clear documentation and user guidance to support consistent and compliant use of IT services.
- Excellent communication skills, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and external IT providers.
