Software Engineer (m/w/d) – Regulatory Compliance Systems (Track & Trace)

VeröffentlichtVeröffentlicht: 22.7.2026

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer – Regulatory Compliance Systems (Track & Trace) to join our growing team.

In this role, you will take ownership of the design, development, and evolution of regulatory-driven software solutions that help industry customers and governmental organizations meet increasingly complex compliance requirements.

You will work on mission-critical Track & Trace platforms, enabling product authentication, supply chain transparency, serialization, traceability, and regulatory reporting across regulated industries.

Activities

  • Own and drive the development of Track & Trace and regulatory compliance software solutions.
  • Design, implement, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
  • Collaborate with product management, compliance experts, customers, and government stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop integrations with enterprise systems, regulatory repositories, and external data exchange platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and evolving legislative requirements.
  • Participate in system architecture decisions and contribute to technology roadmaps.
  • Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and development standards.
  • Contribute to agile development processes and foster engineering best practices.

This position offers you the opportunity to play a key role in shaping HERMOS's strategic growth and future direction. As a result, it opens up a wide range of development opportunities—not only for our company, but particularly for your own professional and personal career progression.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent education with working experience.
  • Several years of professional software development experience with a customer first mindset.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as: C#, JavaScript/TypeScript - “React”
  • Knowledge on RDBMS/NoSQL like SQL Server, Postgres SQL, Cassandra, Cosmos DB, Redis
  • Experience with modern software architecture, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Understanding of software quality practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the skill to adapt and innovate.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional international teams, ideally with project management experience.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Team

Our Software Development – Line Systems team currently consists of around seven internal employees and is responsible for developing and maintaining our line system solutions. For the team we are currently recruiting for, most positions are still filled by external resources, with the exception of the Team Lead. Our goal is to gradually strengthen the team by building up internal expertise and increasing our in-house capacities. Overall, the Track & Trace organization comprises approximately 50 employees, providing a strong collaborative environment with extensive technical know-how and project experience.

Application Process

We look forward to arranging an initial meeting with you via MS Teams as soon as possible. Please feel free to send us some possible time slots.
The next step would be an in‑person interview. If the chemistry is right, we will finalize everything with an employment contract.
