  • Translate manufacturing requirements into robust process and equipment designs that meet safety, quality, compliance, and operational objectives.
  • Own key process engineering deliverables, including process design documentation, equipment specifications, process risk assessments, and control strategies.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Operations, Quality, CQV, Automation, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, company standards, engineering best practices, and regulatory expectations.
  • Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and design decisions to support project execution and operational readiness.
  • Guide process equipment selection, implementation, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.
  • Provide leadership to Suite Leads and Process Package Owners, ensuring alignment across project workstreams.
  • Support governance, issue resolution, escalation management, project schedule adherence, and sustainable knowledge transfer to site operations.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, vaccine, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading process engineering workstreams on complex capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, process design, commissioning, qualification, and validation principles.
  • Experience driving decisions and delivering results in large, cross-functional project teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to navigate complexity, influence across functions, and maintain focus on business outcomes.
