Strategic Account Manager Aerospace - North Germany (m/w/d)
We are expanding our global footprint and seeking a Strategic Account Manager Aerospace – North Germany. You will be responsible for building trusted customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and turning strategic account potential into long-term revenue growth. Activities
We are looking for you to:
- Own and develop strategic aerospace and aviation accounts in Northern Germany.
- Build multi-level relationships across engineering, quality, manufacturing, procurement, operations and senior management.
- Create and execute structured account plans, including stakeholder maps, opportunity roadmaps, revenue targets and next-step actions.
- Identify new use cases and expansion opportunities for 8tree’s AR-enabled 3D surface inspection solutions across customer sites and business units.
- Lead complex B2B sales cycles from first engagement through technical evaluation, demos, proposal, negotiation and closing.
Requirements
Must-have Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B business development, technical sales or key account management.
- Proven ability to develop complex industrial or enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.
- Experience selling technical products, inspection systems, manufacturing technology, metrology, software-enabled hardware or other industrial solutions.
- Strong ability to build trust with engineering, quality, manufacturing, procurement and senior commercial stakeholders.
- Structured approach to account planning, pipeline management, forecasting and opportunity development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and commercial judgment.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Based in, or willing to be regularly present in, the Hamburg / Northern Germany region.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Europe.
Nice-to-have Requirements:
- Experience with 3D metrology, NDT, or quality inspection systems
