We are building a modern, high-impact digital health platform used by millions of users worldwide. Our product combines mobile excellence, scalable backend systems, and cutting-edge AI-driven features. As a Senior TypeScript / React / React Native Developer, you will play a central role in building and scaling our mobile and backend systems, actively shaping architecture and driving technical excellence.

Activities

  • Architect, build, and maintain high-performance React Native applications for iOS and Android
  • Develop and maintain scalable Node.js backend services and serverless functions in TypeScript
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Design to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Take ownership of architectural decisions across frontend and backend
  • Ensure high engineering standards through clean code, testing, documentation, and structured peer reviews
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of both mobile apps and backend services
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
  • Drive technical improvements proactively. Refactoring, performance tuning, system redesign where necessary
  • Contribute to AI-powered product features where applicable

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience with TypeScript and React
  • Strong hands-on experience with React Native in production environments
  • Experience building Node.js backend systems using TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of scalable architectures (REST APIs, serverless, cloud functions, event-driven systems)
  • Experience working in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization and debugging complex systems
  • Experience with automated testing (unit + integration)
  • Familiar with modern AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a high-performance team

Team

We are a small team of 20 employees, with our office based in Dresden. You will work closely with our CTO and be able to collaborate with another developer. In addition, you will also work very closely with other stakeholders, including colleagues from Product and Marketing.
