SAP GTS Consultant (Freelance, Remote)

We are supporting a global S/4HANA transformation program in Germany and are looking for an SAP GTS Consultant with process understanding and hands-on experience in Global Trade Services. The consultant will support the migration from SAP GTS 11 to S/4HANA and act as a functional expert bridging business and IT.

Tasks

• Support the migration from SAP GTS 11 to S/4HANA
• Provide functional consulting and process expertise in Global Trade Services
• Support the project from both a process and system perspective, ensuring the successful transition of global trade and compliance processes to the new S/4HANA GTS environment
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition
• Align business requirements with the new S/4HANA GTS setup
• Participate in testing, validation, and cutover activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an SAP GTS Consultant
• Strong understanding of GTS processes such as compliance management, customs, and export control
• Experience with GTS 11 and awareness of differences in S/4HANA GTS
• Experiance with related SAP modules and processes would be an advantage, such as: SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), TM (Transportation Management)
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in international environments
• Self-driven, structured, and proactive working style
