A Snapshot of Your Day
As Project Management Office (PMO) Lead, you will establish and drive the operational PMO for the Siemens Energy Real Estate function in Southern Germany, with a particular focus on the Nuremberg Katzwanger Straße site. You will bring structure, transparency, and control to a growing portfolio of real estate initiatives by coordinating projects, aligning stakeholders, monitoring risks and financials, and ensuring compliant execution. Acting as the central interface between internal functions, business units, leadership, and external partners, you will ensure that projects are well coordinated, key decisions are supported by transparent reporting, and initiatives are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Establish and lead the operational Project Management Office (PMO) for the Siemens Energy Real Estate function in Southern Germany, with a focus on the Nuremberg Katzwanger Straße site.
  • Coordinate and manage a growing portfolio of real estate and construction projects, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, risk management, and timely delivery.
  • Act as the central interface for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication, alignment, and effective collaboration across functions and business units.
  • Develop and implement standardized project management processes, methodologies, tools, and reporting structures to increase transparency, consistency, and efficiency across the project portfolio.
  • Provide comprehensive portfolio reporting and dashboards for leadership, including project status, risks, dependencies, financial aspects, and key milestones.
  • Ensure operationally compliant project execution in line with corporate guidelines, legal requirements, procurement processes, and industry best practices, while supporting vendor management and project documentation.


What You Bring

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in project, program, or portfolio management, ideally within a PMO, corporate real estate, construction, or comparable environment. Proven experience in establishing or managing PMO structures and coordinating complex project portfolios.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively align diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of project planning, risk management, process improvement, financial management, and reporting.
  • A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach, combined with strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is an advantage.
  • Full professional proficiency in German and English.
