We are supporting a global SAP transformation program and are looking for an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to support the ongoing system rollout across multiple countries. The system is already live in several locations, and the rollout to additional countries is in progress. The PMO will play a key role in ensuring structured project execution, coordination, and reporting throughout the rollout phase.
Framework Conditions
- Location: Remote (within the EU; Hungary preferred), occasional travel
- Start: January/February 2026
- Duration: 12+ months (full-time allocation, 100%)
- Contract: Freelance

- Candidates must be based within the European Union
Tasks
- Support the global SAP rollout program with coordination, planning, and tracking of activities across multiple countries
- Assist the Program and Rollout Managers with status reporting, milestone tracking, and risk management
- Maintain and consolidate project plans, dashboards, and deliverable tracking
- Prepare and facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder updates
- Support communication between central program and local rollout teams
- Ensure compliance with project governance, standards, and documentation requirements
- Identify and escalate issues, risks, and dependencies in a proactive manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement of rollout processes and templates
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a PMO or Project Coordinator, ideally in large-scale IT or SAP programs
- Proven experience in international and global rollout or deployment projects
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong skills in preparing management presentations, tracking tools, templates, frameworks, and documentation
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, hybrid)
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Google Suite, and project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Confluence)
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills across distributed international teams
- Fluent English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus
- EU-based, preferably located in Hungary, and able to travel occasionally for project workshops or key milestones
