The Internal IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical

assistance and support to employees within the organization. This role ensures the

smooth operation of IT systems, resolves hardware and software issues, and supports

internal IT projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Activities

  • Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Respond promptly to support tickets and service requests via email, phone, or IT service desk.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with operating systems, email, printers, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of IT processes.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades, patches, and security measures.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account creation, permissions, and hardware setup.
  • Provide user training and guidance on IT tools, software, and security best practices.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles. Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.• Familiarity with networking concepts, VPNs, and common business software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
