BMK is a Management Consulting firm. We help clients define their application architecture, select applications, and support them through implementation. We are currently looking for an consultant to supplement our team.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
As an a Enterprise System Consultant you will be working the client to define the business requirements, create business process flows, identify and implement appropriate technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consult with the client to define and document business requirements
- Understand both the business process of the application to provide guidance in application selection
- Work with the application development/ ERP implementation team to outline a work plan and deliverables
- Respond to client ad-hoc requests in a timely manner which could include simple data draws, in-depth data analysis, user application training, how-to questions or application troubleshooting
- Project Manage the implementation (cost and timing) of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or other enterprise application
Profile
A successful Enterprise System Consultant will have:
- Three to five years experience as a ERP or MES functional consultant or solution architect
- Strong verbal and written skills that will allow them to easily communicate in both the business and IT teams
- Strong presentation skills that will allow them to present status and findings to the client
- Analytical problem solving skills that will allow them to define problems, collect necessary data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Past experience with managing an ERP implementation or project managing an enterprise application development project
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
- ERP or MES functional consulting experience
- Prior work experience in Supply Chain, Marketing, Technology Development, and Automotive is desired but not a requirement
- ERP Implementation or enterprise system implementation is desired but not a requirement
- 25-50% travel required
