Data Protection Manager / Legal Counsel (all genders) - Inklusiver Job

Your Tasks

• Advise business functions and affiliates on data protection matters and regulatory requirements, increasingly including also AI compliance topics
• Contribute to the further development of Beiersdorf’s global data protection and AI compliance framework, processes and tools
• Support the identification, assessment and mitigation of privacy and AI-related risks
• Assist in the prevention, investigation, monitoring and reporting of privacy incidents and compliance violations
• Define and assess technical and organizational measures
• Coordinate and maintain data protection documentation with business functions and affiliates
• Support audits and monitoring activities related to data processing and compliance controls
• Develop and deliver training and awareness materials for employees and Management

Your Profile

• University degree in law, business, IT, data science, digital technologies, compliance, risk management, public administration or a comparable field
• 
  Proven experience
  
  in data protection, compliance, risk management or a related area, experience in
  
  European GDPR
  
  is preferred
• Strong interest in AI governance and AI compliance, ideally with initial practical experience in this field
• Knowledge of data protection laws and frameworks is an advantage
• Experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Affinity for technology, data processing and digital business models
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, proactive and solution-oriented way of working
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
