A Snapshot of Your Day
As Business Solution Coordinator for Commercial Project Management, you will act as a key interface between Commercial Project Management, Finance, IT and regional business stakeholders. Your focus will be to translate complex commercial project management requirements into sustainable, scalable and user-oriented business solutions.

You will coordinate business solution activities for forecasting, controlling and reporting processes used by CPMs and Controllers across multiple regions. Building on the existing EVA and FFC landscape, you will help shape future-ready solutions in the context of S4E Unify, SAP S/4HANA, LTSM/eFMT and related reporting architectures.

In this role, you will combine commercial project management expertise, process understanding, business ownership and digital transformation capabilities. You will ensure that business requirements are clearly understood, challenged, documented, prioritized and translated into practical solutions together with IT, external partners and cross-functional stakeholders.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Coordinate business solution activities for relevant CPM tools in forecasting, controlling and reporting processes
  • Act as primary business interface between CPM users, Finance stakeholders, IT teams, SAP experts, external development partners and regional organizations
  • Translate commercial project management requirements into structured business requirements, solution concepts, test scenarios and rollout-ready process designs
  • Rollout and support further development and stabilization of current and future CPM reporting solutions, including business validation, issue resolution and change request coordination
  • Contribute to the integration of relevant CPM tools with SAP S/4HANA and relevant reporting platforms
  • Represent commercial project management interests in design, build, test, go-live, hypercare and continuous improvement phases
  • Drive user-oriented improvements to forecasting, reporting and controlling processes, with a strong focus on data quality, transparency, usability and process efficiency
  • Coordinate and challenge business requirements from different regions and functions to ensure standardized, scalable and compliant solutions
  • Support rollout, onboarding and knowledge-transfer activities for CPM users and key stakeholders across regions
  • Contribute to governance, documentation and process alignment for CPM-related tools, including authorization concepts, reporting structures and data dependencies
  • Support transfer pricing, intercompany, PoC accounting, contract database and project-related reporting requirements where relevant for CPM tool and process design.
  • Identify operational pain points and improvement opportunities and translate them into actionable solution proposals

What You Bring

  • A degree in business administration, finance, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Longstanding experience in Commercial Project Management, Controlling, Finance, Project Business or business process management
  • Strong understanding of CPM processes, preferably including forecasting, PoC accounting, project controlling, long-term projects business and cross-regional project execution
  • Experience with SAP KSP, Project Dash, SAP S/4HANA or comparable finance/project reporting solutions is highly beneficial
  • Ability to bridge business and IT: you understand commercial processes and can translate them into clear system requirements and solution logic
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex business processes, data flows and system dependencies
  • Experience in transformation projects, digitalization or tool implementation projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills in an international, cross-functional environment
  • Ability to challenge requirements constructively and drive standardization while respecting regional and business-specific needs
  • Proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage several topics in parallel
  • Fluent English skills; German is required, as the position involves close collaboration with CPM and systems experts in Germany
