Tasks

• Technical and operational leadership of the Decision Team, including resource planning, milestone definition, and goal alignment in line with our quarterly product roadmap

• Management and further development of internal areas related to active, inference-based decision-making for autonomous systems

• Research and innovation: development and evaluation of new decision-making models for autonomous mobility solutions

• Quality management & results review, including task reviews, ensuring Asana hygiene, and supporting team members

• Team development & motivation: fostering a cooperative, solution-oriented culture with ownership and commitment

• Structured communication of relevant information to the entire team – beyond just technical topics

• Cross-functional collaboration with other team leads and management to identify and implement optimization measures

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field

• Extensive expertise in the field of Active Inference

• Several years of professional experience in autonomous driving, AI, or decision-making architectures

• Initial or solid leadership experience – you understand team dynamics as well as technology

• Strong technical understanding of decision-making models, probabilistic methods, and software development

• Excellent communication skills and a structured way of working

• Fluent in both German and English

• Willingness to work onsite
