We are supporting a global transformation program and are looking for an experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant with proven expertise in international global rollouts.

  • Location: Hybrid (occasional on-site presence required)
  • Start: October 2025
  • Duration: 12+ months, full-time allocation (100%)
  • Contract: Freelance
  • Language: English (must), Hungarian/German (nice to have)

Please note: Due to project requirements, we can only consider candidates located within the EU.

Tasks

  • Take primary responsibility for the SAP MM stream within the end-to-end (E2E) global rollout program in the Demand-to-Pay (D2P) area
  • Provide expertise and consulting in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Direct Procurement processes while also considering Indirect Procurement where relevant
  • Act as the interface between the template development team, business functions, and end users
  • Drive process alignment and solution design with business stakeholders
  • Actively support key project deliverables including requirement gathering (fit-gap), testing, training, cutover, and hypercare phases
  • Proactively identify and address rollout risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Prepare and execute workshops, describe and align potential exceptions/deviations, and drive related IT adjustments.
  • Ensure consistency, compliance, and adoption of the global SAP MM template across markets

Requirements

  • 8+ years of SAP MM consulting experience with strong business process management expertise and a proven track record in global rollout programs
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and strong knowledge in Direct Procurement
  • Excellent understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes
  • Experience with integration to other SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, WM/EWM, Ariba)
  • Solid knowledge of master data management (material and vendor data, purchasing info records)
  • Hands-on experience with testing, cutover, and go-live support
  • Skilled in fit-gap analysis and balancing global templates with local requirements
  • Strong change management and training capabilities to drive user adoption
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in international environments
  • Intercultural awareness and ability to work effectively in global rollout teams
  • Agile mindset: applies agile principles (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe) in daily operations
