
Paid Search Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks
We’re looking for a data driven Paid Search Manager with a commercial mindset who is driven to exceed targets. This is a hands-on role - we want someone comfortable in-platform, constantly optimizing, testing, and finding new ways to win in a competitive market.
You’ll own a portfolio of campaigns across Search, Performance Max, and other Google-owned placements, with a focus on generating high-quality leads that convert.
You will report into the Head of Paid Search and Google Ads, in the Global Paid Media unit, and work closely with our in-house creative, marketing operations, product and technology and analytics teams to push performance forward — balancing the data-driven side of PPC with the commercial instincts to know when to double down or move on.
Your Core Focus:
- Own and optimise campaigns across Google Search, PMax, App Campaigns, YouTube, and DemandGen
- Drive growth through hands-on campaign builds, bid strategies, and testing
- Monitor performance and spot opportunities to scale profitably
- Feed creative and copy ideas back into the team to improve CTR and CVR
- Keep a close eye on budget pacing, CPA, and downstream performance metrics
- Stay ahead of Google Ads trends, formats, and beta opportunities
- Work with analytics to understand true ROI beyond platform numbers
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience running PPC campaigns in Google Ads (not just briefing agencies)
- Strong understanding of search and Google-owned ad placements (Search, PMax, YouTube, App Campaigns, Demand Gen)
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actions
- Confident in testing, scaling, and optimising in competitive markets
- Curious, commercially aware, and comfortable making quick decisions
- Bonus points if you’ve worked in lead generation or financial services
