Your personal sphere of play:Your future position is at the Department of Sport and Movement Science, Division of Sport Psychology. The research group focuses on developing and testing psychological interventions for both performance and health. We are currently running a large project on orienteering sports in school settings. Because the activity includes a close cooperation with teachers and students outside of the university, a proper German language (C1 or higher) is a MUST criterium.Duration of employment: The position is initially limited until September 30th, 2026, and depends on the duration of the absence of the current position holder.
Your future tasks:You are involved in research projects of the research group.You collect and analyze data, and cooperate on scientific publications.You hold courses in Sport Psychology (teaching load: 2 SWS) and help with supervising student theses.You are involved in the lab’s dissemination activities.You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching, and administration.
This is part of your personality:Degree in psychology, sports science, or a comparable subject with a relevant doctorate.Research experience in the field of Sport Psychology. Experience with studies in school settings is of advantage.Excellent knowledge of quantitative research methods.Publications in renowned, relevant media (peer-reviewed with impact factor).Experience with scientific lecturing and dissemination activities.Social competence and ability to integrate into the sport psychology team.Very good written and spoken German and English skills.Knowledge of university processes and structures.
