Tasks
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems across on-premise and cloud environments
- Support the operation of local and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security
- Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security and support incident response activities
- Collaborate with development, security and data teams to support infrastructure requirements and workflows
- Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, SOPs and infrastructure diagrams
- Contribute to improving operational processes and infrastructure standards
Profile
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Linux systems administration or infrastructure engineering
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking, storage, and system troubleshooting
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling, such as GitLab or similar
- Experience with monitoring, logging, backup and incident management tools
- Knowledge of virtualization, containerization or object storage technologies is a plus
- Excellent German and English language skills are required for this position
