(Senior) Software Engineer (Backend) – B2B Squad (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build the backend systems for our innovative B2B electricity products. This is a unique opportunity to shape a largely untapped market and directly impact how businesses manage their energy consumption, turning a fixed cost into a controllable lever. You will be a key player in driving our growth and defining the future of energy management.

Activities

You will build the backend systems and APIs behind RABOT's new electricity products for business customers, including dynamic commercial tariffs, transparent price and consumption data, billing and settlement logic, and interfaces for companies to integrate our products into their operations. You will work closely with product and our optimization team to transform raw market and consumption data into desirable products.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong in C# and .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (GCP/Azure).
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, TDD, and agile development principles.
• AI coding tools like Claude or Cursor are part of your natural workflow.
• Fluent in English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin or Hamburg.

Bonus:

• Experience in the energy sector, with billing/settlement or pricing systems, event-driven architecture, or building B2B/API products.

You will join our B2B Squad. This Squad has been formed in February and is already showing very impressive success. All roles in this Squad work AI-first.
