We are looking for a CRM Tech Manager to drive the technical evolution of our customer engagement ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the implementation and optimization of Braze, develop data-driven personalization and omnichannel communication strategies, and act as the key link between Marketing, Data, and Technology teams. You will be responsible for building scalable CRM infrastructure, enabling advanced customer journeys, integrating new data sources and channels, and leveraging AI-powered capabilities to enhance customer experience and business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of CRM and customer lifecycle marketing.

Activities

  • Lead the technical implementation, configuration, and continuous development of the Braze Customer Engagement Platform.
  • Migrate CRM templates, automations, customer journeys, and audience segments from legacy systems to Braze.
  • Design, build, and optimize personalized customer experiences across web, app, email, push, and other digital channels.
  • Develop and implement omnichannel customer journeys to improve engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Define and maintain tracking concepts, process behavioral data, and leverage insights for segmentation and personalization.
  • Analyze CRM campaign and channel performance, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with Data and Engineering teams on integrations, data models, tracking architecture, and platform scalability.
  • Expand the CRM data ecosystem by integrating new data sources and enabling advanced use cases such as CLV-based targeting.
  • Introduce and operationalize new communication channels, including WhatsApp, RCS, and future customer touchpoints.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between Marketing, Product, Data, and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation within CRM by evaluating and implementing AI-powered capabilities, including GPT-based solutions and intelligent automation.
  • Ensure CRM infrastructure and processes support business growth, operational efficiency, and an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in CRM Technology, Marketing Technology, or Customer Engagement Platforms in a mid-to-senior-level role.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Braze, including implementation, configuration, campaign management, and customer journey orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of CRM architecture, APIs, SDKs, data integrations, and customer data flows.
  • Solid experience working with BigQuery, SQL, JSON, and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience migrating CRM assets, automations, templates, and audience segments between platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of web tracking, behavioral data collection, audience segmentation, and personalization strategies.
  • Experience analyzing CRM performance metrics and translating insights into optimization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with customer data models, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and integrating new data sources into CRM ecosystems.
  • Experience implementing and managing omni-channel communication strategies across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, WhatsApp, RCS, or similar channels.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Marketing, Data, Product, and Engineering teams and act as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented working style with a high level of ownership.
  • Interest in leveraging AI technologies within CRM environments, including automation, personalization, and GPT-based solutions.
  • Fluent English required; German language skills are considered a plus.
