Established in July 2022 as a joint venture between Daimler Truck, the TRATON GROUP, and the Volvo Group, Milence is dedicated to making the future of road transport fossil-free.
To realize this vision, we are building a reliable charging network for all battery-electric heavy-duty trucks regardless of brand. Our goal is to deploy high-performance charging points along all major TEN-T corridors across Europe, aligning infrastructure roll-out with customer needs and market developments.
With an initial focus on 15 markets and operational hubs already open in several key locations, Milence is rapidly expanding its network to ensure that heavy-duty electric vehicles can operate seamlessly across the continent, supporting the transition to a sustainable and efficient transport system.
The job
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Milence's commercial operations across the DACH region. We're looking for someone with a true sales mindset – someone who thrives on closing deals, knows how to navigate the complexities of the sales process, and is driven by results. Your primary focus will be selling our public charging network to fleet operators, logistics companies, and other key players in the transport industry.
Reporting to the Regional Lead, you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships and driving revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies in your region (Southern Germany).
This role is ideal for someone who gets energized by deal-making, knows how to seal agreements swiftly, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with ambitious targets.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies aimed at growing our presence within the fleet and logistics sectors.
- Identifying key prospects and cultivating relationships with decision-makers at fleet operators, logistics companies, and other transport-related businesses.
- Closing deals efficiently while ensuring a strong value proposition for both the client and Milence.
- Managing relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conducting market analysis to identify trends and business opportunities within the DACH region.
- Generating new leads and proactively exploring new business opportunities to drive revenue.
- Taking a greenfield approach by finding innovative sales strategies to penetrate untapped markets.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or comparable working experience.
- You have proven experience in truck sales and/or selling products or solutions to fleet operators, logistics companies, or similar markets.
- You bring a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on closing deals in a timely and effective manner.
- You have exceptional customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong, long-term partnerships.
- You have proficiency in market analysis and understanding of the competitive landscape.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
- You are fluent in both English and German.
- You are self-driven, with a passion for sales and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- You are based in Baden-Wurttemberg or Bavaria region
