Your tasks
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate their aptitude for academic work through a completed — or near-completed — doctoral degree (minimum grade: "good" / magna cum laude) and who has professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

Microeconomics
Industrial Organization
Empirical Economic Research
Behavioral Economics

Your profile
Additional topics may be developed as part of the innovative advancement of the curriculum. Competencies in the field of general business administration are also desirable. We place great emphasis on outstanding teaching and innovative, digital instructional methods. Accordingly, relevant experience in higher education teaching is expected, ideally evidenced by excellent evaluation results. Applicants should also demonstrate their willingness and ability to engage in research activities in their area of specialisation, ideally through relevant publications and/or successfully acquired third-party funding.
A willingness to teach in the relevant economics, quantitative, and management-related modules across HSBA's study programmes is expected, as is the ability and willingness to teach in English. Proficiency in German is also required.
Remuneration is in line with industry standards. A minimum of five years of professional experience is required, of which at least three years must have been gained outside academia.
