What began as an idea in 2022 is today a rapidly growing DTC subscription model serving over 20,000 dogs. Our 20-person team is set to grow to over 35 by the end of 2026 – now is the perfect time to join.

Our ambition doesn’t stop at the product – or the creative. We think through the entire journey: from the first hook to conversion in the shop. For us, performance marketing isn’t a nice-to-have – it’s a solid foundation to reach our target audiences effectively and efficiently.

And that’s where you come in: You have a strong grasp of numbers – and a real obsession with dogs. But your interest goes beyond the four-legged friends – you’re just as curious about the dog parents behind them. You spot patterns, test hypotheses, and enjoy developing new ideas and approaches. For ads that don’t just look good – they deliver results.

Activities

  • You develop, implement, and manage paid search campaigns (primarily Google & Microsoft Ads) across all funnel stages to acquire qualified new customers for HEY HOHLY
  • You create targeted search strategies based on our existing search performance and implement them with internal and external partners (e.g. agencies, landing page teams)
  • You analyze search intent and audience behavior using keyword data, search insights, reviews, community feedback, and alignment with product and brand marketing to develop relevant messaging hypotheses
  • You test new formats, channels, and experimental setups (e.g. Performance Max, Demand Gen, Reddit Ads) and turn them into scalable growth paths for future search and non-search platforms
  • You evaluate campaign data and user journeys and derive concrete optimization measures for keywords, ad copy, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies
  • You plan and manage the budget based on efficiency and growth goals and ensure optimal allocation between brand, generic, and prospecting campaigns
  • You stay on top of current SEA trends, AI features, tests, and best practices – and integrate them into your search strategy to continuously raise the bar on our search excellence

Requirements

  • Experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in SEA / Paid Search – ideally in a D2C or e-commerce environment, with a focus on full-funnel new customer acquisition
  • Tool proficiency: You’re an expert in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, and familiar with GA4; experience with attribution tools or Performance Max setups is a plus
  • Analytical-creative all-rounder: You understand all relevant SEA KPIs, can quickly analyze data, spot patterns, and translate these insights into clear hypotheses, ad copy angles, and landing page optimizations
  • (Dog)-Customer Obsession: You understand how dog parents think – what matters to them, what they look for, what their pain points are – and you’re excited to dive even deeper into their world
  • Structured, proactive & execution-driven: You work in a highly structured and independent way, with a strong eye for detail – and you bring projects to life through smart planning, proactive communication, and a strong bias for action
  • Experimental mindset: You enjoy testing new formats and channels (e.g., Performance Max, Demand Gen, Reddit), evaluating results, and turning them into scalable approaches
  • Language skills: You have strong English skills; German is a plus – or alternatively, you’re on excellent terms with DeepL and ChatGPT

Team

We value diversity!
We believe in the power of different perspectives and welcome team members regardless of what they look like, where they come from, who they love, or what they believe in.

What matters to us are your skills – and your willingness to grow while helping others grow, too. Because only together are we truly strong.

Our mission is clear: We want to grow in order to give as many dogs as possible a better life. To make that happen, we need people with different backgrounds, perspectives, and strengths. We’re convinced that the most successful teams are those built on diverse, complementary talents.
