National Key Account Management – Oil & Energy Industry (m/f/d)

Here's what you can look forward to:

As a Key Account Manager (m/f/d), you will be part of our Wholesale / Industry business, one of MB Energy's cornerstones in Germany. You will join a motivated sales organization with office-based field sales and a dedicated key account team managing nationwide business with major clients and corporate accounts. In this role, you will manage strategically important customer relationships, develop existing accounts, and identify new growth opportunities. You work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable product supply, high service quality, and long-term partnerships within the Oil & Energy industry.
Our product portfolio includes heating oil, diesel, gasoline, HVO, and LPG, and you will also help drive decarbonization discussions around lower-carbon solutions such as biofuels, hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia.


Aufgaben
  • Client Relationship Management: You develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, acting as their main point of contact to ensure satisfaction and effective collaboration.
  • Customer Needs and Solutions: You understand customer requirements to ensure our solutions align with their objectives and ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services.
  • Contract Negotiation and Growth: You negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability, while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing accounts and the wholesale market.
  • Market and Competitor Insights: You monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Support: You work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless service and provide exceptional customer support to address any issues or concerns.
  • Performance and Progress Reporting: You prepare regular updates on account status, sales forecasts, and key performance metrics for senior management.
  • Business Development in New Regions / Target Groups: You manage projects, conduct market analyses, prepare data, and create relevant foundations for strategic corporate decisions by our senior management.

Profil
  • Education: A completed degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in key account management within the Oil & Energy industry. A deep understanding of the German market and an existing network of key contacts within the Oil & Energy sector, enabling access to industry insights and fostering business opportunities.
  • Market knowledge: In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, margin optimization, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Sales expertise: Knowledge of sales strategies, margin optimization, and KPIs.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools, with expertise in data analysis and report generation to support strategic decision-making.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English; basic French or Danish skills are an advantage.
