Logistics Operations Planner (m/f/x)
Your tasks
You have a passion for data accuracy, operational forecasting, and FMCG logistics?
We’re looking for a Logistics Operations Planner (m/f/x) to bridge the gap between Supply Planning and Warehouse Operations, translating complex supply data into reliable inbound/outbound forecasts needed for efficient warehouse capacity planning. With your hands-on experience in planning, inventory management, and warehouse logistics, you’ll provide crucial capacity insights, drive efficiency, and enable smooth operations in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Your tasks will include:
- You develop detailed Outbound forecasts for the warehouse, including the expected number of orders and the ratio of boxes/packaging sizes used
- You calculate and forecast expected inbound deliveries from suppliers (quantity, number of pallets/cartons, expected picks)
- You coordinate closely with Supply Planning and Inventory teams to ensure that purchase orders (POs) are received and booked into the correct locators to ensure that inventory forecasting is accurate
- You create and manage forecasts for product returns
- You serve as the primary point of contact for continuous operational management and alignment with the warehouse team
Your profile
- You have a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable quantitative field
- You have 2–3 years of professional experience in Logistics Planning, ideally with direct exposure to E-Commerce and experience with FMCG
- You bring a strong affinity for numbers, forecasting models, and KPIs, and the ability to process large amounts of data to derive actionable plans
- You live in Frankfurt/the surrounding area or are willing to relocate for your new position
- You have proficient knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and ideally experience with ERP/OMS/WMS Systems
- You are fluent in English (German is a plus) and bring a proactive, hands-on mentality suited for a fast, dynamic environment
