Tasks
ou work in the international environment of a modern industrial company on an international growth course and ensure highquality and effective legal support for the executive board, the management team and the specialist departments, such as e.g. sales and purchasing, in all areas of the varied international and worldwide business within the sera Group in day-to-day business. This includes, among other things, the drafting and review of international contracts, pro-active risk management and consulting for colleagues in international contract negotiations with customers, suppliers and other business partners, in which you will participate if necessary. Your area of responsibility strategically includes the legal conception, validation and creation of companywide framework conditions, guidelines and regulations on international sales contracts, compliance, IT security, data protection, e-commerce, digitalisation and media marketing, among others. You advise the specialist departments on the development and introduction of new products and services as well as on projects, e.g. in the context of outsourcing, tenders and submissions. You support and coordinate the legal processes as well as IP and patent management with our external lawyers and patent attorneys. Another interesting area of responsibility includes the management of funding and public funding for our innovation projects within the group of companies, be it product innovations in the field of hydrogen and water treatment technologies or regenerative construction projects and much more.
- Checking and drafting contracts and agreements in German and English.• Advising the management and the specialist departments on all legal topics that arise.
- Reviewing and drafting (international) legal terms and conditions, GTC and other product documents.
- Training and legal consulting of colleagues.
- Cross-border cooperation in an international group of companies.
Requirements
- After successfully completing a degree in law with a focus on business and Commercial law and/or corporate law, youhave gained two to five years of professional experience in an internationally oriented law firm, consultancy or in a legal department of an international company, ideally with a focus on business and corporate law.
- Expertise in the legal fields of product liability, data protection and industrial property rights and funding is not a must for us, but a desirable can.
- You have already been involved in the review, drafting and negotiation of national and international contracts withsuppliers, customers and business partners.
- You are proactive, communicative, inquisitive, ambitious and want to leave your own legal „footprint“ and help shape our international growth.
- You enjoy legal advice, working out pragmatic solutions and teamwork in interdisciplinary teams in an internationalenvironment.
- You can explain legal issues in an understandable way and keep a cool head in challenging discussions and contract negotiations.
- You have a good understanding of technical and economic contexts, ideally already professional experience in the industrial environment of mechanical and plant engineering.
- Furthermore, a sound knowledge of written and spoken legal German und English language skill is indispensable.
