Aufgaben

Position: Key Account Manager (KAM)

Reports to: CV Sales Director

Location: Bad Camberg (near Frankfurt) or Glinde (East of Hamburg), Germany

Role Purpose

The Key Account Manager CV will be responsible for managing and developing the CV business . Reporting directly to the CV Sales Director, the KAM will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and internal functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact , managing all commercial and strategic activities.
  • Lead customer negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and business agreements, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Coordinate with Customers to align project execution, customer support, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to expand business opportunities and reinforce long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with internal functions (engineering, operations, program management, quality, finance) to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular account reviews, forecasts, and performance reports to the Sales Director Europe.
  • Promote initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen Tenneco's positioning as a strategic partner.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in Key Account Management, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Solid knowledge of OEM automotive customer structures and processes.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
  • Based in Bad Camberg (Frankfurt) or Glinde (Hamburg) with willingness to travel across Europe.
