Your Role
For our team of researchers and engineers, we are looking for a student to support our concept work on AI-driven solutions for future medical applications in neuroscience and healthcare.

You will

Develop and integrate cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for future ophthalmological and other medical devices

Gain hands-on experience with multiple neural signal modalities

Analyze, research, test, and implement core functionalities for multi-modal data specific to neuroscience and healthcare

Research solutions in scientific and patent literature and tailor solutions to our needs

Conduct and evaluate experiments on large scale real-world datasets
Profil
-
A bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a master's program in computer science, biomedical engineering, physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning

Advanced programming experience in Python; ideally prior experience in C/C++

Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch

Ideally, domain knowledge in neuroscience, electrophysiological data analysis

Ideally, experience in software engineering and development with Microsoft Azure

Excellent organization, problem-solving & communication skills (English and/or German)

A passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
