Founded in 1997, Cima Nutrition NV operates a production and logistics site in Vichte (Belgium), offering storage, repacking, and custom blending capabilities. To strengthen our market expansion—especially in Germany—we are looking for an experienced International Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager who is based in Germany.
Tasks
As International Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager, you will drive Cima Nutrition’s growth in the DACH pet food ingredients market. You will engage closely with R&D and procurement teams, understand their needs, and introduce innovative ingredient solutions that add real value to their products.
Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement: Visit R&D and purchasing departments of existing and potential customers in both dry and wet pet food; identify current and future needs.

Product Introduction: Present our specialized ingredient portfolio and promote the benefits for customer applications.

Sales Growth: Manage specific product groups, develop sales strategies, and deliver on budget and sales targets.

Documentation & Presentations: Prepare high-quality product documentation and customer presentations.

Customer Satisfaction: Build long-term, trust-based partnerships and ensure excellent customer experience.

Business Development and strategy: Contribute to the strategic development of the business of Cima.
Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Proven commercial experience selling ingredients to the pet food, food, or feed industries.

Strong relationship-building skills with R&D and procurement teams.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities at senior purchasing level.

A solid track record in business development and key account management.

Interest in innovative, sustainable solutions; leadership potential is a plus.

Fluency in German; good command of English.

Residence in Germany and willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
