In Germany, 120 employees in Berlin are working to realise the company's vision. Berlin serves as the headquarters, hosting both national and international teams.

The Role

A hands-on leadership role owning both day-to-day IT operations and a portfolio of significant transformation projects.

You'll manage a team of ~30 covering helpdesk, infrastructure, and systems support, while leading three major initiatives:

• entity separation — splitting shared IT systems so each group entity operates independently
• Yardi migration — moving off legacy custom applications onto the Yardi property management platform
• app decommissioning and transfer — sunsetting legacy systems and handing off applications to entities that wish to retain them

You'll be the senior technology voice in the business, reporting directly to the CEO.

• lead and develop the IT team (~30 staff) across helpdesk, infrastructure, and systems support
• own IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365, security, licensing, and vendor relationships
• drive the group's entity separation programme from a technology perspective
• deliver the Yardi implementation end-to-end, from discovery to go-live
• manage decommissioning and controlled transfer of legacy applications
• act as the technology advisor to Group leadership

• senior IT leadership experience
• proven track record delivering technology transformation, not just running operations
• experience in property, real estate, or a similarly asset-intensive sector — desirable
• Yardi experience is a strong advantage
• hands-on with Microsoft 365, cloud/on-premise infrastructure, and IT security
• a player-coach: credible with your team and trusted by senior non-technical stakeholders
• strong project management skills — able to hold complex programmes together without heavy PMO support
• commercially minded, calm under pressure, and high on personal accountability
• fluent in English and German
