Founders Associate (all genders) - Strategy, GTM & Finance
koppla is building the next-gen collaborative scheduling platform for construction. Our goal is to become the operating system for construction planning: helping project teams coordinate work, identify delays early, and keep complex projects on track.
As a Founder’s Associate at koppla, you will work directly with our Founder & CEO on the highest-impact topics across the business. Over the next 6-12 months, you will help us define the next stage of koppla by working on strategy, finance and operations topics. Going forward we will find your path, seeing if you want to stay broad (future Chief of Staff, Operations Lead) or specialize into a role like GTM engineering.
Compensation: €60k-70k + equity
Location: Berlin (Hybrid, 3+ days/week in office)
Activities
In addition to supporting the Founder and owning day-to-day operational work, you will lead GTM & strategic projects end to end with real responsibility. Examples include:
- Strengthening our GTM engine by analyzing opportunities and introducing new tools
- Exploring new market segments and assessing the value of investing in them
- Kicking off international expansion by creating launch plans for new markets
- Revamping our pricing model by applying key learnings
Requirements
This role is ideal for an early-career generalist and future founder who wants to work closely with the CEO in a fast-moving environment. You are likely a great fit if:
- You have a strong academic background in business, management, economics, or a related field
- You are early in your career (internships, just graduated, or just a bit of experience).
- You have experience in fast-paced environments such as a startup, consulting, or venture capital.
- You are fluent in German and English.
- You are pragmatic and hands-on, and you focus on what the business needs.
- You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and you know when to proactively report back.
- You are a structured thinker and tech-savvy
- You thrive in ambiguity, can context-switch quickly, and take ownership without needing perfect structure.
