Enterprise Architect (gn) Physical AI & Software Defined Automation
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to translate business ambition into platform value and design enterprise-ready IT–OT architectures with our customers. This role is critical in turning strategic interest into board-approved platform decisions, acting as a trusted advisor during the sales and early adoption journey. You will bridge business strategy and platform value, executive ambition and technical reality, and Proof of Value with long-term enterprise architecture.
Activities
As an Enterprise Architect, you will:
- Translate customer business goals into platform value narratives, architecture principles, and adoption logic.
- Co-create enterprise IT–OT architectures with customers, designing target architectures for software-defined automation and Physical AI integration.
- Develop and evolve technology-agnostic capability frameworks and lead maturity assessment workshops.
- Design enterprise transformation roadmaps with a phased adoption approach and risk mitigation strategy.
- Identify expansion opportunities and support Sales and Partner teams in building expansion narratives and business cases.
Requirements
**Experience & Background:**
- Many years of strong experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution/Platform Architect, or Digital/IT–OT Transformation Architect.
- Proven exposure to large enterprise environments.
- Experience working in automation domains.
- Familiarity with cloud and enterprise IT architectures, OT systems, shopfloor realities, industrial robots, and platform/ecosystem-based models.
- Ideally based in one of the following regions: Rhine-Main, Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, or Cologne/Bonn.

We're building a new Sales team within the Revenue department which collaborates alongside Customers Success, Marketing, Partner Management as well as Engineering and the Project Team.
