About the Role


Jellyfish is seeking a full-time Senior Social Media Manager with strong experience leading strategy and overseeing execution of content on social media channels to support omni-channel marketing objectives.


The ideal candidate will be a master at producing engaging social media content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Twitter. The candidate must be strategic, organized, and demonstrate clear communication skills with both clients and internal teams. The Senior Social Media Manager will report to the Senior Director of Social and Content Production, and will work closely with the content production teams.


Responsibilities:


● Develop and optimize overall social strategy for new and existing clients


● Build, own, and maintain the social content calendar, ensuring cohesion across social platforms for both always-on and campaign or commerce related activations


● Create and publish engaging content across social channels, inclusive of writing copy and sourcing assets for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and Twitter.


● Manage and engage with communities on all channels, creating a two-way dialogue to inform content strategy


● Collaborate with content teams on ideation, oversee project timelines, and approve social assets


● Track, analyze, and optimize against KPIs on a daily basis and present key insights in a compelling format on a monthly basis


● Stay current on platform updates/innovations and competitors, ensuring that best practices are being applied across all channels and learnings are shared cross-team


● Work with the paid media team to support on the deployment of social campaigns


● Embody the voice of the brand through at every touchpoint, with channel-specific tactics


Requirements:


● 5+ years managing social media channels for a brand. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with FMCG or Pharmaceutical brands in-house or at an agency


● BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or a related field


● Experience building audiences, increasing engagement, and driving KPIs with performance-led social strategy


● Ability to adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment


● Strong copywriting skills and ability to clearly communicate


● Have an excellent understanding of all social media platforms and analytics tools


● Must be a team player, and be able to wear different hats as needed
