Would you like to drive the international expansion of a Swiss company with a 20-year track record, high-quality reputation and outstanding references in the growing market for specialty fiber optic systems for defense applications?

Role
Sales Manager Defense Europe

Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for sales and marketing of Solifos’ defense products and services in Europe with focus on NATO countries and German Bundeswehr
  • Acquisition of new customers and support of existing accounts in the area of national armies as well as solution and system providers
  • Build up and management of agent/distributor network to serve local army procurement organizations
  • Large contract negotiation and tender handling
  • Creation of offers, contract negotiation and ratification including the alignment of external and internal stakeholders
  • Supervision of project fulfillment from sales side

Qualifikation

Qualifications
  • Experienced sales manager in the military and defense market
  • Proven track-record of international sales to defense organizations and/or NATO
  • Experience in the build-up of a distribution/agent network in the defense industry
  • Competence in technical product and solution sales
  • Confident negotiator with military procurement organizations
  • Entrepreneurial, service-driven and commercial mind-set
  • Self-confident, positive attitude, able to work independently and at the same time enjoys being part of a high-performance team
  • Leadership capabilities to build and inspire a motivated team
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Europe
  • Competent with MS office suite
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a technical field and/or business & economics
  • Fluent in German and English, other languages are a great advantage
