The SPECS team delivers Schenker Dedicated Services’ solutions for Electronics customers. This position leads the team and has full P&L and operational accountability for the performance of the business. The team is part of SDS’ Operations function with approximately 20 team members in total.
The SPECS solution enables customer road freight deliveries across multiple countries in Europe and North Africa with a focus on process predictability, speed, and security. Transparency, timeliness, and accuracy of information towards the customers and internally is important. The process is customer driven with a need to prepare for and respond to volume and market changes
As Lead General Manager, the successful applicant would be responsible to strategically develop the business relationship with the customers while enabling growth of the SPECS product. Process compliance ensuring operational performance is key so that contractual and profitability targets are met. Team development is another key responsibility to ensure continuous improvement in processes and solutions towards the customer while improving quality, effectiveness, and profitability.
