Key purpose of your role is to provide Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation engineering support to the engineering departments of the different operating companies as well as supporting the roll-out and implementation of the group's ambitious Automation/Digitisation road map for 13 terminals worldwide. You will report directly to the EI&A Engineering Manager. Your Key Responsibilities include : •Design & implementation of electrical and automation systems,components and applications within the regions on a global scaleaccording to CED standards. • Preparing and developing EI&Arelated calculations, specifications, schemes, PID's, conceptualstudies, engineering documents and reliability/availabilityrequirements for new builds or expansion projects. • Ensuringthat state-of-the-art quality, legal, timing & planning andbudgetary requirements are met. • Coordinating with the regionswith regards to project & peer reviews, technical analysis andcompliance with mandatory internal corporate specifications.•Reviewing and discussing E&I CapEx proposals within thedifferent regions. • Liaising and interacting with customers,authorities, contractors and regulatory agencies. • Acting as aproduct owner for ISA-95 Level 1 & 2 Automation Systems anddriving standardization of Control Systems in the group.
To qualify for this role you have a Master or similar highertechnical degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/AutomationEngineering. • You have a relevant and strong Electrical,Instrumentation & Automation background in the Oil & Gas,Chemicals or related industries, ideally in storage, logistics anddistribution. • You have a solid experience in EI&A design,preferably for storage terminals. • You are detail oriented withstrong IT/DCS interface thinking. You are familiar with DCSplatforms of e.g. Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Endress+Hauser. • You have the ability to initiate and drive projects witha strong sense of ownership. • You have a strong HSSEawareness and you can demonstrate superior analytical skills inaddition to excellent organizational and operational capabilities.•You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multi-cultural and global team. • You are fluent in English(spoken & written) with knowledge of German and any other languages as an advantage. • You are based in or willing to relocate to Belgium (Antwerp) or The Netherlands (Rotterdam). • This position requires intensive travel across the globe.
