Manufacturing & Engineering Project Leader (m/w/d)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Work closely with the finance function to create economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment.
• Establish global automation strategies across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Position is based in the SUEZ WTS Bitterfeld Germany operation.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Master degree Chemical Process or Mechanical Engineering advanced degree beneficial.
• Extensive experience leading engineering teams, contractors, and technical vendors.
• Good communication skills in German and English languages.
• 5-7 years work experience preferred.
• Knowledge in manufacturing, including automated environments.
• Knowledge in applications like SMART 3D, SOLID WORKS, AUTO CAD.
• Sound knowledge industrial control systems.
• Ability to travel globally without restrictions.
• Knowledge in explosion protection and security concepts (hazard & operability study (HAZOP)

Preferred:

• Knowledge typical ERP systems like SAP.
• Familiarity with industrial chemical processes.
• Exposure to local and state regulations as they relate to facility and factory equipment approvals.
