Key purpose of your role is to manage Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation engineering support to the engineering departments of the different operating companies as well as coordinating the roll-out and implementation of the group's ambitious Automation/Digitisation road map for 13 terminals worldwide. You will ensure optimal knowledge sharing from the corporate centre towards the terminals and vice versa and you will report directly to the Vice President Engineering in Antwerp. Your Key Responsibilities include : • Leading design & implementation of electrical and automation systems, components and applications within the regions on a global scale according to CED standards. •Supervision and development of EI&A related calculations,specifications, PID's, schemes, conceptual studies, engineeringdocuments and reliability/availability requirements for new buildsor expansion projects. • Ensuring that state-of-the-art quality,legal, timing & planning and budgetary requirements are met.•Coordinating with the CED team and the regional A&O Managers,the Operations, IT and Engineering Managers. • Driving the localE&I and DCS Engineers to meet milestones and KPI's. • Monitoringreview & discussion of E&I CapEx proposals within the differentregions. • Representing the company towards customers,authorities, contractors and regulatory agencies. • Acting as a keyproduct owner for ISA-95 Level 1 & 2 Automation Systems anddriving standardization of Control Systems in the group.
To qualify for this role you have a Master degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation Engineering or equivalent by experience•You have a relevant and strong Electrical, Instrumentation &Automation background in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals or relatedindustries, ideally in storage, logistics and distribution. • You have10-15 years of experience in EI&A design, preferably for storage terminals. • You are detail oriented with strong IT/DCS interface thinking. You are familiar with DCS platforms of e.g. Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Endress+Hauser. • You are a high-impact, entrepreneurial and customer focused manager with excellent organizational and leadership skills for a demanding, multicultural and global work environment. • You are strong in motivating and developing people, fostering teamwork and collaboration, championing change and driving innovation and operational excellence. • You have a strong HSSE awareness and you can demonstrate superior analytical skills. • You are a dedicated and open-minded professional with good communication- and interpersonal skills. • You are fluent in English (spoken & written) with knowledge of German and any other languages as an advantage. • You are based in or willing to relocate to Belgium(Antwerp) or The Netherlands (Rotterdam). • This position requires intensive travel across the globe.
