WHAT YOU'LL DO

BCG’s Offer Team provides specific support to BCG program and topic teams: we work closely with all of BCG’s Functional Practice Areas (PAs) to support the design, development, and marketing of the firm’s key offerings. One of our missions is to recruit, onboard and manage Product Managers dedicated to each of these offerings, while orchestrating cross-team initiatives. We also manage and deploy a set of best practices to drive offer excellence, including offer development, marketing and go-to-market.
We are seeking a strong candidate to join our Offer Team. This is an evolving role and you will be joining a growing team of Offer and Product Managers. You will support a variety of strategic initiatives, including the following:
  • Product Management Excellence (PMEx): You will help run the PMEx program by managing both the day-to-day execution and longer-term evolutions. The goal of this program is to codify and disseminate Product Management best practices across functional Topic teams, working closely with Practice Area Product Managers.
  • Universal Offer Map: You will help track and implement the evolutions of our commercial offers’ map.
  • Competitive Intelligence: You will contribute to our competitor screening effort to help us differentiate our offers.
  • Product Managers Community affiliation management
As part of our Offer Team, you will interact extensively with a diverse range of stakeholders from across the business, both geographically and functionally: Practice Area Product Managers, Knowledge Team, Content Managers, other Support Functions staff, external vendors, etc.


YOU'RE GOOD AT

Successful candidates will feel comfortable operating in a "start-up mode" within BCG and with multiple players, have strong project management skills, the aptitude to see and hold the big picture, yet also manage the operational details. Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities and eagerness to lean in to support team/projects when needed, are also pre-requisites.

Successful candidates will show the following abilities:
  • Prioritizing activities and working with others to get things done
  • Managing and executing projects efficiently; providing hands-on support to multiple activities, often requiring solid organizational and communication skills
  • Collaborating with various teams, at different levels of seniority across geographies, being able to communicate with people with diverse backgrounds, be a point of contact for the community


YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced Degree Preferred, in business, marketing or related field
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in management consulting or other professional services firms preferred
  • Previous experience in BCG is a plus, ideally in a business support function associate manager or business analyst role
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience working in global and virtual teams at all levels of seniority
  • Interest in functional topics is nice to have
  • A variety of skills is needed from data management, creativity, persistence, diplomacy, and emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple work streams, sometimes with competing priorities
  • Acute attention to detail; demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness
  • Proficient in the use of Windows Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Proficient in the use of digital teaming tools (Slack, Trello, Miro, SharePoint Online, etc.) and familiar with Content Management Systems
  • Connecting and networking across organizations
  • Able to navigate in a complex, fast-paced and matrix organization
  • Desire to own and enhance operational processes and assets
  • Strong work ethic, service-mentality
  • Strong interpersonal skills: collaborative team player with ability to manage expectations
