– In consultation with President of company, manages the sales activities on major accounts, operational performance reporting, and preparation of products feature to expand the business. – Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams. – Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products. – Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results. – Collaborates with the President to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines. – Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit. – Collaborates with the President to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses. – Represent the company at trade association meetings/congress to promote products. – Identify potential new business opportunities in the marketplace. Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in the territory. – Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. – Develop new customer accounts. Maintain and expand existing customer accounts. – Develop sales presentations to professionals (physicians, nurses, executives in clinics and hospitals). – Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness. - Home office can be an option.
-A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred and a minimum of three -years of related experience within the pharmaceutical sector and/ormedical device industry. -Knowledge of the evolving changes within the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries. -Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
– Planning: Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span and achieve sales goals/plans. – Ability to deal with customers and business contacts, while conveying a positive service oriented attitude. – Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills with English, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- French or German skills are advantageous – Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements.
