About this role

Our mission at Avelios is to build the leading software platform for the data-driven digitization of hospitals and patient care. To do so, we have built a modular software platform that digitizes and optimizes workflows in hospitals with cutting-edge technology in a user-friendly way. With our software, we enable hospitals, doctors & nurses to provide their patients with the best possible care.  To continue to shape the future of healthcare, we are looking for a (Senior) Business Development Manager to manage and increase our sales pipeline and actively shape our customer growth story from the very beginning.


In this role, you will

  • Actively manage and grow a high-quality pipeline of customer leads

  • Work directly with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Product to ensure a successful sales process from lead generation through customer success

  • Create sales strategies, materials and business analyses to continuously push our pipeline

  • Establish and expand our network within the clinical healthcare industry and build up business collaborations with various partners

  • Analyze competitors and new business areas to find scalable business opportunities that enhance and promote our company vision


What you offer

  • Successfully completed business, technical, scientific or medical studies

  • Solid Business Development/Sales experience for B2B software (in healthcare sector/with hospitals a big plus)

  • Consistent record of winning new customers and achieving measurable business impact

  • Excellent presentation and argumentation skills to convince different stakeholder

  • Good technical understanding and/or strong interest in software products and healthcare 

  • Solution-oriented mindset & focus on getting things done

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and good in English
