Your tasks will be:
Know the Market:
You know the market situation and the drivers for future developments (emissions, buying criteria, economic parameters) of the respective countries. Further you are linked to internal (MPC, GD, strategy department etc.) and external (other OES, internet, etc.) sources for different perspectives on the markets and derive a market potential to reflect it into strategic and operative planning.
You also develop and realize a plan of attack (OEMs) to address sales potentials. Besides you evaluate products, market segments and marketspecific requirements to be addressed into application engineering, production and logistics. You support in addition customer- and competitor analysis (OEMs, OES). Moreover you support and participate in exhibitions and are responsible for continuous improvement projects of the key account management function.
Know the Customer:
You select potential customers based on economical and technical factors.
Further you build up actively a network within the customers organization to realize acquisition targets.
Also, you select potential application projects with regard to economical and technical factors (increase share of wallet) and you are responsible for the contract negotiations for prototypes and series deliveries (incl. internal alignment and release).
Besides you negotiate and track the volume- and price development with each customer.
You further ensure customer commitment and sales success by customer oriented problem-definition and early initialization of countermeasures. Moreover you will manage the communication between customer, sales internal and other DAG departments
Contribution to Sales targets and miscellaneous:
You ensure a proper reporting of the target fulfillment and realize the sales targets with regards to volume and price.
In addition you observe the rules of compliance and competition law and you are prepared to take high international travel requirements., University degree in economics or engineering
Experience and specific knowledge:
Working experience in sales
Good knowledge of IT applications (MS Office, SAP, product documentation)
Fluent languange skills in Farsi (must), English (must), German (preferred)
Strong affinity for the sales of technical challenging products (engines, transmissions and axles for commercial vehicles)
Strong negotiating skills and capability to handle difficult situations
Openess to frequent business trips
