Your Duties:
  • Customer support on ticket, phone and F2F meeting basis
  • Reproduce customer issues and make them transferable
  • Analyze root cause
  • Find work around or fix
  • Act as interface between customer & developer in case of real bugs
  • Develop demos and proof of concept applications
  • Write application notes
  • Conduct release tests and write the test reports
  • Support design-in activity
Your Qualifications:
  • Relevant University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of the Yocto build system including ability to add own drivers and user-mode libraries as well as add applications into existing recipes and to fix any kind of Yocto build issues
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ required
  • Ability to maintain a driver stack of about 500k lines
  • Detailed understanding of SoC internal and external bus systems
  • Driver development know-how for at least two of the following OS: Linux, Android, INTEGRITY, QNX
  • Experience in interacting with customers (pre-sales, support, etc.)
  • Proven development skills in 3D graphics (OpenGL-ES), audio/video decoding, image recognition (OpenCL, OpenCV), or image manipulation
  • Strong communication skills in English and dedication to delivering excellent service levels
  • Knowledge of German is a plus
  • Must be self motivated and ability to work independently
