Construction Manager (m/f) This position is a critical role which contributes to AmRest success by achieving and providing planning, project management and financial oversight in both new store and renovation construction projects whilst maintaining the highest standards of excellence in delivering the Starbucks experience in our stores and managing the process to ensure all construction projects are completed effectively and efficiently on time, in budget and in line with key initiatives. Key Responsibilities Liaise with all internal/external stakeholders throughout project lifecycle with ability to communication and influence at all levels and areas of the business. Manage and monitor effective project costs within budget guidelines, to ensure projects are completed on time, to budget and to an excellent standard. Maintain, adjust and update project plans as needed, using effective change controls. Communicates project status to project participants and stakeholders accurately and on time. Manage the construction phase of the development process for all new store types (inline, kiosk, drive thru) and store renovations. Liaises with internal team to take possession from landlords/developers, ensuring that we have compliance with the agreed heads of terms and company guidelines. Monitors general contractor and vendor performance during construction build-out phase. Maintains established construction schedules to allow store to open on time. Oversees ordering and tracking of materials and equipment. Manage the permitting and approval phase of the development process and ensures all correct approvals have been received prior to initiating possession or construction phase. Develop and manage budget requirements for both new store and renovation projects through the prescribed budget approval process.
